Class I Landfill

Class-I Landfill manages approximately 1000 tons per day of municipal solid waste from industry and businesses.  Demo asphalt and concrete are reused to provide for all weather deck road and access active disposal area.  Clean limbs and branches are grinded to provide for a stable off loading area.  Auto fluff, fly ash and processed mulch are used for initial cover to conserve airspace and provide for beneficial reuse of these waste materials.  No hand unloads or pull offs are allowed for safety reasons.  A 15 minute off loading time is enforced Monday thru Friday.  A traffic director and spotter are used to control traffic and screen incoming waste for prohibited and suspect hazardous waste.
